This Act amends the Criminal Code to prohibit the display of Nazi symbols and gestures in public and private places in Western Australia, and amends the Criminal Law (Unlawful Consorting and Prohibited Insignia) Act 2021.
Impact
Individuals displaying Nazi symbols or gestures in public or without consent on private property will face criminal charges. Property owners may be issued removal notices. The public is protected from hate speech.
