๐ Bail Amendment (Persons Linked to Terrorism) Act 2019

This Act amends the Bail Act 1982 to introduce a presumption against bail for persons linked to terrorism, and to protect terrorist intelligence information in bail proceedings.
Impact
Individuals charged with or convicted of terrorism offences, or subject to control orders, will face stricter bail conditions. Courts must protect terrorist intelligence information. Annual reports must include information about the application of these provisions.
