📘 Help to Buy (Commonwealth Powers) Act 2025

This Act adopts Commonwealth Help to Buy legislation and refers certain related matters to the Commonwealth Parliament, enabling a national Help to Buy scheme in WA. It also makes consequential amendments to several WA Acts.
Impact
First home buyers in WA will be affected as they may be eligible for financial assistance under the Commonwealth's Help to Buy scheme. State government agencies administering housing and financial assistance programs will also be affected.
