📘 Restraining Orders and Related Legislation Amendment (Family Violence) Act 2016

This Act amends the Restraining Orders Act 1997 and other related legislation to improve protections for victims of family violence in Western Australia. It introduces Family Violence Restraining Orders (FVROs) and Behaviour Management Orders.

Victims of family violence will be better protected through FVROs and related measures. Respondents may be subject to behaviour management programs. Courts, police, and legal professionals will need to adapt to the new FVRO framework.
