📘 Ticket Scalping Act 2021

The Ticket Scalping Act 2021 restricts the resale of event tickets above 110% of the original price and prohibits the use of software to bypass security measures on ticket selling websites.
Impact
Event attendees are protected from inflated ticket prices. Event organisers and authorised ticket sellers are affected by the regulations on ticket sales and advertising. Advertising publications are responsible for policing ticket resale ads.
