This Act amends the Transport (Road Passenger Services) Act 2018 to provide COVID-19 relief payments and regional assistance payments to the road passenger transport industry in Western Australia.
Impact
Taxi-car operators and on-demand booking service providers in WA may be eligible for financial assistance. The Act aims to alleviate economic hardship caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and support regional transport services.
