The Building and Construction Industry (Security of Payment) Amendment Bill 2026 amends the Building and Construction Industry (Security of Payment) Act 2021 and the Building Services (Registration) Act 2011 to strengthen subcontractor protections on State Government construction projects by introducing statutory construction trusts and streamlining payment processes.
