This Bill amends and then repeals the Animal Resources Authority Act 1981, winding up the Animal Resources Authority. It transfers assets, rights, and liabilities, and makes consequential amendments to other Acts.
Impact
The Animal Resources Authority's staff, assets, and functions will be transferred. An interested party may continue production operations under a new business model. The Minister will take over the Authority's responsibilities during the wind-up period.
