This Bill amends the Electricity Corporations Act 2005 to merge the Electricity Retail Corporation (Synergy) and the Electricity Generation Corporation (Verve Energy). It discontinues the Electricity Retail Corporation, vesting its assets and liabilities in the Electricity Generation Corporation, which will be renamed the Electricity Generation and Retail Corporation.
