Special Report: Temporary Orders 2015 - Extension
Procedure and Privileges Committee (Council)· 17 June 2015special_report
The Procedure and Privileges Committee recommends extending the operation of the Legislative Council's Temporary Orders for 2015 until December 31, 2015. The Committee believes the initial period was insufficient to properly evaluate the success of the Temporary Orders. A review will be conducted before the end of the year.
Impact
Members of the Legislative Council and those affected by its procedures will be impacted. The extension allows for a more thorough evaluation of the Temporary Orders' effectiveness.
