City of Perth Standing Orders Amendment Local Law 2012
Delegated Legislation Committee (2001 - 2017)· 13 September 2012general_report
The WA Delegated Legislation Committee reviewed the City of Perth's Standing Orders Amendment Local Law 2012 and found it invalid due to non-compliance with Section 3.12 of the Local Government Act 1995. The City sent a copy of the proposed law to the Minister before giving Statewide public notice, reversing the required order. The Committee recommends disallowance.
Impact
The disallowance will revive the City of Perth Standing Orders Local Law 2009. The City of Perth will need to restart the process if they wish to amend their standing orders.
