The second edition of the WorkCover WA Guidelines for the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment are issued under section 187 of the Workers Compensation and Injury Management Act 2023 for the purpose of evaluating the degree of permanent impairment that arises from an injury. The second edition is effective for all assessments conducted on or after 1 July 2026 and repeal and replace the first edition which came into effect on 1 July 2024.
