LA401 GOVERNMENT TRADING ENTERPRISES ACT 2023 GOVERNMENT TRADING ENTERPRISES (WESTERN AUSTRALIAN LAND AUTHORITY) DISPOSAL ORDER 2026—PIER STREET PROPERTY Made by the Minister for Planning and Lands under Section 98 of the Government Trading Enterprises Act 2023 (WA). 1. Purpose This Order authorises DevelopmentWA to dispose of the Pier Street Property, which is a significant asset within the meaning of Section 95 of the Government Trading Enterprises Act 2023. The Pier Street Property has been developed to deliver housing, urban renewal and economic outcomes. The disposal is consistent with DevelopmentWA’s statutory functions, and subject to DevelopmentWA entering into the Pier Street Project Contracts. 2. Definitions (a) DevelopmentWA means the Western Australian Land Authority established under the Western Australian Land Authority Act 1992. (b) Pier Street Property means the land situated at 195 Pier Street, Perth, being Lot 102 on Deposited Plan 417869 being the whole of the land comprised in Certificate of Title Volume 4055 Folio 780, together with all buildings, works and improvements constructed or to be constructed as part of the Pier Street redevelopment project. (c) Pier Street Project Contracts means the contracts and arrangements entered into by DevelopmentWA for the sale of the Pier Street Property, including any sale contract, management agreement, and related documents.
