Made by the treasurer, under section 129d (2) of the electricity industry act 2004 (the act). This notice is the electricity industry (tariff equalisation contribution) notice (no. 1) 2017. This notice shall take effect on 1 july 2017. Pursuant to section 129d(2) of the act, the tariff equalisation contribution that is payable by the electricity networks corporation for the purpose of part 9a of the act in respect of the period commencing on 1 july 2017 and ending on 30 june 2018 is $167,000,000.
