The Rottnest Island Authority, acting under Regulation 38B of the Rottnest Island Regulations 1988, closes specific waters in Thomson Bay to all vessels (excluding emergency and authorised vessels) from 7:00am on Monday 15th June 2026 to 5:00pm on Tuesday 30th November 2027, due to the New Marine Logistics Hub construction. The closed area includes the New Marine Logistics Hub Army Groyne and surrounds, bounded by temporary markers and specific moorings.
