The Western Australian Planning Commission delegates to the Commissioner of Main Roads all functions, powers, rights, and duties of the Commission regarding compensation claims under the Land Administration Act 1997 and the Planning and Development Act 2005, related to land taken for the Metropolitan Region Scheme, specifically Planning Control Area No. 122—Armadale Road Deviation (Cockburn Central). The Commissioner shall not make any contract or incur any expenditure exceeding $1,000,000 (inclusive of GST) without the prior consent of the Minister.
