LG401 LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1995 Shire of Mount Magnet PARKING AND PARKING FACILITIES AMENDMENT LOCAL LAW 2025 Under the powers conferred by the Local Government Act 1995 and under all other powers enabling it, the Council of the Shire of Mount Magnet resolved on 21 January 2026 to make the following local law. PART 1—PRELIMINARY 1. Citation This local law may be cited as the Shire of Mount Magnet Parking and Parking Facilities Amendment Local Law 2025 2. Commencement The local law comes into operation on the fourteenth day after it is published in the Government Gazette. 3. Principal local law This local law amends the Shire of Mount Magnet Parking and Parking Facilities Local Law 2025 as published in the Government Gazette on 28 March 2025. PART 2—AMENDMENTS 4. Clause 1.3 Amended Amend the definition of ‘symbol’, and replace ‘1999’ with ‘2016’ 5. Clause 3.2(1)(f) Amended Delete the alphabetisation (f) and reposition the paragraph to align with the text of clause 3.2(1) 6. Clause 4.1 Amended Renumber the second subclause (1) so that it is subclause (3) 7. Clause 8.2(1) Amended Replace “the vehicles” with “a vehicle” and “office” with “offence” 8. Schedule 2 Amended Delete the references in items 23 to 33 to clauses ‘3.5(2)(a) to 3.5(2)(k)’ and replace them with the references to clauses ‘3.5(1)(a) to 3.5(1)(k)’. Delete references in item 34 to clause ‘3.5(3)(a)’ and replace with ‘3.5(2)(a)’ Delete reference in item 35 to clause ‘3.5(4)(a)’ and replace with ‘3.5(3)(a)’ Delete references in items 40 to 43 to clauses ‘3.9(a) to 3.9(d)’ and replace with ‘3.9(1) to 3.9(4)’ Dated 21 January 2026.
