FE401 EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACT 2005 Section 52 EXTENSION OF EMERGENCY SITUATION DECLARATION I, Colin John Blanch APM, State Emergency Coordinator, hereby extend the emergency situation declarations made on 26 March 2026 at 1630hrs, 28 March 2026 1353hrs and 1 April 2026 at 1500hrs, in respect of Severe Tropical Cyclone Narelle (incident 775618). The emergency situation declaration is extended for a period of six months, until 1630 on 12 October 2026. The powers that may be exercised during the period by which the emergency situation declaration is extended are as follows— Those powers under section 72 of the Emergency Management Act 2005. Time when extension made: 1840hrs Date on which extension made: 10 April 2026 This extension has effect from 1630hrs on 12 April 2026 and remains in force until— (a) 1630hrs on 12 October 2026; or (b) it is revoked under section 53 of the Emergency Management Act 2005. This declaration of an extension of an emergency situation declaration is made under section 52 of the Emergency Management Act 2005. Dated 10 April 2026.
