It is hereby notified for public information, in accordance with section 87 of the Planning and Development Act 2005 that the Minister for Planning approved the abovementioned amendment to the Shire of Merredin Local Planning Scheme No. 6 on 27 May 2026, for the purpose of reclassifying and rezoning various lots in Burracoppin, Nangeenan, Nukarni, and Merredin, changing density codes, introducing new clauses for reserves, and amending tourism-related provisions.
