Recognises Victorian guardianship orders in Western Australia for adult persons.

This arrangement is made under section 44a of the Guardianship and Administration Act 1990 (wa) on the 21st day of september, 2020 between the hon attorney general for the state of western australia and the hon attorney-general for the state of victoria. The hon attorney general for the state of western australia being satisfied that orders made under section 30(1)(i) of the guardianship and administration act 2019 (vic) relating to the guardianship of adults correspond sufficiently with the guardianship and administration act 1990 (wa), it is agreed that guardianship orders made under the guardianship and administration act 2019 (vic) in respect of adult persons who enter western australia be recognised in western australia.
