The legal services council has made the following rules under the legal profession uniform law (nsw). The objects of these rules are to clarify confidentiality and conflict of interest requirements, including in short term legal assistance services, to harmonise certain provisions of these rules with the legal profession uniform conduct (barristers) rules 2015, to make other miscellaneous amendments to improve clarity and update the rules.
