I refer to Commonwealth Minister for the Environment's Statement of Reasons for the decision to approve the North West Shelf Extension under the EPBC Act, which states "there is a body of peer-reviewed scientific and other literature, including the MRAMP, asserting that industrial emissions are adversely affecting the rocks of Murujuga." Further, I note that there are multiple lines of scientific and other evidence suggesting that nitrogen oxides (NOx), sulfur oxides (SOx), and other acidic airborne emissions are having a significant adverse impact on the rocks of Murujuga, and I ask:
(a) does the Minister agree with the statement that industrial emissions are having a significant impact on the Murujuga Rock Art:
(i) if no to (a), why not?
