I refer to the STEM Enterprise Schools initiative, delivered in partnership with the Department of Education and the Department of Jobs, Tourism, Science and Innovation, and I ask:
(a) What role does agricultural education play within the STEM Enterprise Schools initiative;
(b) How many schools involved in the initiative offer agricultural science, agribusiness or agritech programs;
(c) How many of those schools are located in regional Western Australia;
(d) What consultation has occurred with the agricultural industry regarding STEM workforce shortages;
(e) What agriculture-specific outcomes has the initiative achieved to date;
(f) Does the Government consider agriculture and agritech to be industries of the future for Western Australia:
(i) If yes, why were agriculture and agribusiness not specifically highlighted in the showcase announcement;
(g) How many agriculture-focused exhibitors, organisations or businesses attended the showcase; and
(h) Were any WA Colleges of Agriculture invited to participate:
(i) If yes, which colleges participated and what projects did they present?
