ACIL Allen evaluation
236. Hon Phil Twiss to
the minister representing the Minister for Police:
I refer to ACIL
Allen's evaluation of the Western Australia Police Force countering violent
extremism program, which failed to prevent a Perth teenager from carrying out a
terrorist attack in Willetton in 2024.
(1) Why has the government refused to
publicly release the full findings of the evaluation?
(2) Why is WA police already advertising
a tender for a second evaluation program?
(3) What was the total cost of the ACIL
Allen evaluation?
(4) Will the government commit to
releasing the full results of the second evaluation?
