During the 2026-27 Budget Estimates the Minister advised that no professional group had contacted or lobbied her for flu vaccinations to commence in April. Can the Minister advise:
(a) Is the Minister aware that the Australian Medical Association WA (AMA WA) and the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) have publicly stated their support for a flu vaccinations to commence in April;
(b) Has no one in the Minister's office or the Department of Health advised the Minister of this view from the AMW WA and RACGP;
(c) Does the Minister consider the AMA WA and RACGP as credible bodies that advocate in the best interests of the community;
(d) Were targets set for flu vaccination rates last year, if so what were they and what was the actual participation rate; and
(e) What is the target for this year and what practical steps are being taken to increase participation rates?
