I refer to the provision of agricultural education programs in WA schools, and I ask:
(a) Can the Minister please provide a list of all Western Australian public schools currently offering agricultural education programs or agricultural-related subjects;
(b) For each school identified, will the Minister provide:
(i) the school name;
(ii) location;
(iii) year groups participating;
(iv) whether the program is curriculum based, VET based or extracurricular; and
(v) the number of students enrolled in agricultural education subject;
(c) What specific agricultural curriculum subjects are currently offered at each public school, including but not limited to agricultural science, primary industries, horticulture, aquaculture, viticulture, animal studies, farm skills and certificate based VET agricultural qualfications;
(d) How many WA public secondary schools currently operate
:
(i) school farms;
(ii) agricultural training facilities;
(iii) horticultural centres; and
(iv) agricultural trade training centres;
(e) What funding has been allocated in the current State Budget to support agricultural education programs in WA public schools;
(f) How many agricultural teachers are currently employed across the WA public school system;
(g) Has the Department identified any shortages of qualified agricultural education teachers in regional Western Australia;
(h) How many students are currently undertaking VET agricultural qualifications in WA public schools;
(i) What partnerships currently exist between WA public schools and:
(i) agricultural businesses/farming operations;
(ii) regional industries;
(iii) universities; and
(iv) TAFE;
(j) What plans does the Government have to expand agricultural education opportunities in WA public schools over the next five years

(k) How many WA public schools have introduced new agricultural or primary industry programs since 2021; and
(l) What support is available to schools seeking to establish agricultural education programs, school farms, or industry partnerships?
