I refer to the workforce fatality reported for 2025 in the most recent Main Roads Annual Report, and I ask:(a) What were the circumstances;(b) Has a review been conducted; and(c) If yes to (b):(i) What were the recommendations; and(ii) If any recommendations, what is the progress on their implementation?
Answer
(a)-(c) Given the sensitivities and ongoing investigations by regulatory authorities it is not appropriate to comment further on this matter, however Main Roads has been working with the Contractor to understand any improvements than can be implemented.
