Authority (PTA) property.(1) Was the minister aware of these devices prior
to the news story?(2) Will the minister instigate an inquiry into
the deployment of these devices?(3) Will the minister instigate a policy measure
to ban them on PTA property?
Answer
Hon Samantha Rowe replied:I thank the
honourable member for some notice of the question. I provide the following
answer on behalf of the Minister for Transport.(1)–(3) It is the position of the state
government that such devices should not be used by state government agencies.
