(1) I refer to the contract to construct the New Armadale Courthouse and Police Complex (Reference Number BMW0479418) with an Original Contract Value of $61,670,158 (fixed price), noting media reports of a final contract value of over $88 million, and I ask:(a) What was the final $ contract value paid to the appointed contractor; and(b) Of the difference between the Original Contract Value and the final contract value paid, what was the $ breakdown by the following trade categories:(i) Fire Sprinklers;(ii) Electrical;(iii) Hydraulic;(iv) Fire (Dry);(v) Security;(vi) Mechanical;(vii) Lifts; and(viii) Other?(2) Of the difference between the Original Contract Value and the final contract value paid, how much of this was due to COVID related payments provided by the State Government:(a) Please provide a breakdown of COVID related payments by the following trade categories:(i) Fire Sprinklers;(ii) Electrical;(iii) Hydraulic;(iv) Fire (Dry);(v) Security;(vi) Mechanical;(vii) Lifts; and(viii) Other?(3) In 2022 the State Government announced an allocation of $30 million to a relief scheme for head contractors on government projects impacted by unforeseen supply chain impacts.
