Question
I refer to my questions
without notice 557 and 631 of the 19th and 21st of
August 2025 on the Western Australia Designated Area Migration Agreement (DAMA)
and the four Regional Western Australian DAMAS, and I ask:(a) from the 30th of
June 2024 to the 30th of January 2026 how many employers were
endorsed to establish labour agreements under the Western Australian DAMA, and
how many of the positions created by them, are located in the geographic locale
of:(i) the Goldfields DAMA;(ii) the Pilbara DAMA;(iii) the Kimberley DAMA; and(iv) the South West DAMA;(b) when was the Government first
notified by the Federal Government that the regional DAMAs were to be cancelled
and replaced by the state wide DAMA;(c) did the State Government
attempt to retain any or all of the four regional DAMAs is any way, and if so
how; and(d) how will the State Government
ensure the state wide DAMA will focus on the regions?
