I refer to the expansion of the Regional Road Safety Program to Local Government Roads and the $250 million co-contribution investment over four years, and I ask:(a) how much of the $250 million allocation has been committed to date, and how much has been expended;(b) which Local Government Areas have received funding under the expanded program and, for each, please provide:(i) the location of each funded road project;(ii) the scope of works;(iii) the total project cost; and(iv) the State and local government contribution amounts;(c) which projects have:(i) commenced but are not yet complete; and(ii) been completed;(d) which approved projects have not yet commenced, and what are the anticipated start dates;(e) have any applications submitted by local governments under this expanded program been denied, deemed unsuccessful, or not progressed:(i) if yes to (e), please provide:(A) the name of the council;(B) the project proposed;(C) the reason the application was not approved; and(D) whether the council has been invited to resubmit or revise its application;(f) how does the Government ensure that the required co-contribution from local government does not disadvantage smaller or resource-constrained councils in accessing funding under this program?
