on deposited plan 76986, forming part of the Perth Park precinct and owned by
Burswood Nominees Limited.(1) Has Crown Perth, Burswood Nominees Limited or
any related entity formally or informally indicated a preference or intention
to sell this land to the Western Australian Government?(2) If yes to (1):(a) on what date was that indication made;(b) to which minister, department or agency was it
made; and(c) was the indication made in writing?

Hon Samantha Rowe replied:I thank the
honourable member for some notice of the question. I provide the following
answer on behalf of the Minister for Transport.(1)–(2) The state government's
negotiations with Crown continue to progress positively in relation to the 3.5
hectares of land on the southern edge of Perth Park. This land was sold by the
previous Liberal–National government at a discount, with a requirement
for development to commence by 2020 and be completed by 2028.
