Answer

1)             (a-b) Improvement in rangeland condition and profitability is a long term objective of the Southern Rangelands Revitalisation Project (SRRP). Activities include facilitated training and development activities to build pastoralist capacity; establishing 35 demonstrations of drought-resilient practices; and developing bioeconomic modelling and decision support tools for industry to assess the economic benefits for their own stations. 2)             All activities were of regional relevance. Extension activities included on-station projects, peer to peer meetings, forums and events, newsletters and case studies in the Southern rangelands. 3)             Demonstrations of drought-resilient practices are shared by case studies and peer to peer learning, not dedicated sites. 4)             Not applicable. (5-7)  The project will conclude as planned in June 2027. (8) The Department supports a range of activities that benefit the Southern Rangelands.
