Question

I refer to WA Labor’s commitment to invest $2,500,000 to establish a dedicated women’s reproductive health day procedure centre at Cockburn Health Clinic, and I ask:(a) can the Minister please identify the 2025–26 budget paper, page number and line item that contains the $2,500,000 for this commitment;(b) can the Minister outline what facilities and services will be provided at the new day procedure centre; and(c) can the Minister confirm the expected timeline for the establishment and opening of the centre?

Answer

Election Commitments, including small commitments, are matters of the public record. It is standard practice for small election commitments to be consolidated under a single funding line in the Budget Papers. Details of individual commitments are publicly available through election materials and related announcements. Election commitments are delivered across the term of Government.
