Question
I refer to the Report on Overseas Air Travel for the 3 months to 31 December 2024 and a trip for three officers from the Gold Corporation to fly Business Class to the USA for a LMBA Global Precious Metals Conference at a total cost of $76,832. Can the Minister advise:(a) Why was it necessary for three officers to attend the same conference;(b) Why was the cost for one officer to attend $27,300 and for the other two it was $24,766 each;(c) In what city was the conference held;(d) What were the dates for the conference;(e) Did the officers travel exceed the dates of the conference by more than one day:(i) If so, why;(f) Did these officers travel to other cities in the USA during this travel:(i) If so where, when and for what purpose; and(g) What were the outcomes for Western Australia from this conference?
