Medicinal Cannabis and Safe Driving Working Group
316. Hon Dr Brian Walker to the parliamentary
secretary representing the Minister for Health:
I am grateful to the
minister for the follow-on response that she provided yesterday to my question
on WA's THC driving laws and the recommendations of the safe driving working
group, which her predecessor convened. Given that she remains the lead minister
on this issue, I ask the following.
(1) Will the
government table the working group's recommendations in this house so that members
and the public at large can consider them alongside the government?
(2) If not, why not?
(3) Is the minister able to confirm for
the record the date upon which she received the final recommendations from the working
group and when they were first circulated to her colleagues in other departments
and agencies?
