I refer to Housing Australia Future Fund (HAFF) dwellings in WA:
(a) Can the Minister confirm that all announced HAFF dwellings in WA are genuinely new additions to housing supply rather than reclassification of pre-existing commitments;
(b) What auditing mechanisms exist to verify the actual occupancy and affordability outcomes of completed HAFF-funded dwellings in WA;
(c) How many HAFF-supported projects in WA are located in regional areas and how many of those have been completed to date;
(d) How often does the WA Government provide progress updates to the Commonwealth on HAFF-funded dwellings in WA, and are these updates publicly available
;
(e) Has there been any instance where the Commonwealth publicly stated a different number of HAFF dwellings in WA compared to the WA Government’s announcements for the same projects, please provide details;
(f) How many HAFF projects in WA have required correction or clarification statements after inconsistencies were identified between State and Commonwealth communications;
(g) What mechanisms exist for resolving disputes between the WA Government and Commonwealth over project status classification (e.g., “committed,” “underway,” or “completed”):
(i) Are there agreed definitions between the Commonwealth and WA Government for terms such as “commenced,” “under construction,” and “delivery-ready” in HAFF reporting;
(h) Has the WA Government ever requested the Commonwealth to amend or delay publication of HAFF project information relating to Western Australia, and if so, on what grounds; and
(i) What audit/assurance processes exist to verify that publicly communicated HAFF project figures accurately reflect underlying project-level data shared between governments?
