answer to my question yesterday regarding invitations to the forthcoming
workforce strategy round tables.
(1) In tabular form, will the minister
please provide a list of the individual employers, industry representatives,
peak bodies, unions and training organisations that have been invited to attend
each of the round tables?
(2) When were the invitations sent?
(3) Why was the agricultural sector
excluded?

honourable member for some notice of the question. On behalf of the
Leader of the House, the following response has been provided by
the Minister for Skills and TAFE.
(1)–(3) Round table invitations were issued from
20 February 2026. Invitees have agreed to participate under the Chatham House
Rule to facilitate robust and frank discussion. It would not be appropriate to
disclose names without their consent. The round tables are in addition to
workforce planning undertaken for all sectors of the economy, including state
and national industry engagement mechanisms.
