I refer to the lack of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) equipment at Esperance Health Campus, equipment which would reduce patient transfer time and additional costs for travel, aid accurate diagnosis and keep treatment planning in the region, and I ask:
(a) How many patients have been transferred from Esperance Health Campus for an MRI since 2017;
(b) How many patients have been given a referral from a doctor at the Esperance Health Campus to attend a health facility outside Esperance for an MRI since 2017;
(c) Despite calls from the Opposition and the community willing to contribute funds, what reason can the Minister give that an MRI will not be installed at the Esperance Health Campus; and
(d) What is the estimated cost of delivering and installing an MRI at Esperance Health Campus?
