I refer to the social housing waitlist and I ask, for each month since April 2025 to February 2026, please identify:(a) The number of people on the social housing waitlist in Geraldton;(b) The number of people on the priority social housing waitlist in Geraldton;(c) The number of people on the social housing waitlist in the Mid West; and;(d) The number of people on the priority social housing waitlist in the Mid West;(e) What is the total social housing stock in Geraldton;(f) Of those identified in (e), how many are currently vacant;(g) For each vacant social home in Geraldton please identify;(h) The length of time the home has been vacant; and the reason for the vacancy;(i) What is the total social housing stock for the Mid West;(j) Of those identified in (i) how many are currently vacant;(k) For each vacant social home in the Mid West please identify;(l) The length of time the home has been vacant; and; and(m) The reason for the vacancy?

As at 28 February 2026, there were 127 vacant Public Housing properties in the City of Geraldton LGA. 77 are listed as returning to service. Properties may be awaiting acceptance of offers from applicants or undergoing maintenance repairs or refurbishment prior to new occupants moving in.

The Department does not individually identify homes that are vacant and awaiting refurbishment for obvious reasons, including to protect the home against being vandalised.
Also, the information requested is not readily available would require substantial manual effort to compile.
