The 2026-27 Budget papers confirm an allocation of $4.1m to implement the Enhanced Access to Community
Pharmacy pilot. Can the Minister advise:
(a) What exactly is this scheme;
(b) Who will run the training;
(c) When will it commence;
(d) How will the 200 pharmacists to participate in the training be selected;
(e) Have discussions been held with the Australian Medical Association (AMA), Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) and the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia (PSA), and if so, what are their views on the pilot; and
(f) Has this scheme operational elsewhere in Australia?
