been provided by the Minister for Prevention of Family and Domestic Violence.
(1) The Department of Communities uses
geographic and service mapping to identify gaps in family and domestic violence
(FDV) service coverage to inform the location of new FDV accommodation
facilities. This includes analysis of existing crisis accommodation locations,
population and demographic data, accessibility, regional service coverage and
travel distances.
(2) Yes.
