I refer to the Department of Energy and Economic Diversification (DEED) contract DEED2526045B to Gaines Advisory Pty Ltd for an External Review of the Synergy Board of Directors and I ask:
(a) Why has the Government commissioned an external review of the Synergy Board of Directors;
(b) What governance concerns or performance issues prompted this review, and why was this not publicly announced;
(c) How many external reviews of Synergy Boards of Directors have been done in the past, please provide the dates of each review; and
(d) Will the findings of the Synergy Board review be made public, and will they be tabled in Parliament, if not why not?
