the parliamentary secretary representing the Minister
for Health:
I refer to the minister's
media release on 30 April 2026 entitled "Additional funding for
sexual assault support services across WA".
(1) What was the quantum of funding
provided to the Sexual Assault Resource Centre:
(a) last financial year; and
(b) this financial year?
(2) What was the quantum of funding
provided to Sexual Assault Support Services:
(a) last financial year; and
(b) this financial year?

for some notice of the question. The following answer has been provided by the
Minister for Health.
(1) Funding for the Sexual Assault
Resource Centre is provided annually by the Department of Health through the North
Metropolitan Health Service and the Mental Health Commission as follows:
(a) $5,881,262; and
(b) $6,225,964.
(2) Funding for the Sexual Assault
Support Services is provided annually by the Department of Health through the North
Metropolitan Health Service as follows:
(a) $2,193,644; and
(b) $2,281,828.
