I refer to overseas-trained teachers recruited to teach in WA public schools, and I ask:(a) How many overseas-trained teachers commenced employment in WA public schools in each of the following calendar years:(i) 2025;(ii) 2024;(iii) 2023; and(iv) 2022;(b) Of the teachers in (a)(i-iv), how many remained employed in WA public schools as at 1 January 2026;(c) What was the total cost of the Department of Education's international teacher recruitment program in each of the years in (a)(i-iv); and(d) From which countries were the overseas-trained teachers in (a)(i-iv) predominantly recruited? Please provide a breakdown by country?
