With respect to the Future Health Research and Innovation Fund:
(a) I understand that the fund receives an annual credit of 1% of the State’s royalty income, did this occur in 2025-26 and is it projected to occur in 2026-27 and in each of the out years;
(b) What is this amount in dollar terms;
(c) Is the allocation of funding made retrospectively at the end of the financial year or at the start of the year based on assumptions about what the royalty receipts will be;
(d) Why do the projections for expenditure fall in last two out years;
(e) How many separate projects were funded in 2025-26 and at what cost
;
(f) How many separate projects are expected to conclude in 2026-27; and
(g) Is
there an audit and or evaluation undertaken of how the funds were used
when allocated to individual projects and the outcome of those
projects?
