I refer to the Ombudsman’s finding that children are not consistently recognised as victim-survivors in family and domestic violence incidents, and I ask:(a) what is the number of family and domestic violence incidents in which children were recorded as present in each of the past three years;(b) what policies, frameworks or guidelines recognise children as victim-survivors in their own right within the family and domestic violence response system;(c) how many, and what proportion, of family and domestic violence incidents in which children were recorded as present resulted in a referral to child protection services in each of the past three years; and(d) what reforms or policy changes are being implemented to improve the identification of, and response to, children impacted by family and domestic violence?
