I refer to the following offences under the Western Australian Criminal Code, 1. sexual penetration of a child, indecent dealings with a child; or any other sexual offence involving a child under the relevant statutory age 2. possession of child exploitation material and 3. conspiracy to commit any of the above offences, and I ask, for the period between 1 January 2025 and 31 December 2025, and for each offence separately:(a) what was the total number of individuals convicted;(b) of those convicted in (a), how many were sentenced to terms of imprisonment, broken down by sentence length:(i) less than 1 year;(ii) 1 year to less than 3 years;(iii) 3 years to less than 5 years;(iv) 5 years to less than 10 years; and(v) 10 years or more; and(c) for those sentenced to imprisonment, how many were released on parole prior to the completion of their sentence?
