Tata Consultancy Services8.Hon Rod Caddiesto theLeader of the House representing the Minister for Energy and Decarbonisation:I refer to the engagement of Tata Consultancy Services by government trading enterprises.(1) Can the minister confirm that India-based multinational Tata Consultancy Services has been engaged by Western Power to implement the digital transformation of its software systems?(2) Can the minister confirm that Tata Consultancy Services was also involved in implementing Synergy's billing system?(3) Can the minister advise the total amount paid to Tata Consultancy Services by both Synergy and Western Power since 2010?(4) Is the minister confident that Western Power's digital transformation will be completed on time and on budget and, if not, who will be held accountable?

Hon Stephen Dawson replied:I thank the honourable member for some notice of the question.(1) Western Power is not currently implementing a transformation of its software systems.(2) The consultant referred to was not involved in implementing Synergy's billing system.(3) The honourable member is requesting data over a 16-year period.
