I refer to the Bindoon Bypass, and I ask:(a) what is the timeframe for the construction of the Bindoon bypass between Chittering and New Norcia; and(b) what is the timeframe for the construction work relating to Cullalla Road, Mooliabeenee to Cook Road, Cullalla?
Answer
(a)-(b) The Bindoon Bypass is being delivered in two sections, northern and southern. The 18km northern section is under construction, with the 11km stretch between Seven Mile Hill and New Norcia on track for completion in mid-2026. The first 7km of the northern section was completed in May 2022. The Southern section is in development, with design and geotechnical investigations, heritage surveys, environmental approvals and acquisition of environmental offsets ongoing.
